Rovaryn Digital Inc. builds focused tools for underserved B2B markets — narrow products for specific professional problems that the large platforms have never found worth solving properly. CEOSalary is one of those products.
Why we built CEOSalary
Compensation committees have Equilar and CEG. Those are institutional subscriptions, bought by companies, priced for companies, and pointed at the company's side of the negotiation. The individual executive — the sitting CEO up for renewal, the incoming first-time CEO, the candidate comparing three offers — has nothing sourced. They have scraped Glassdoor figures, a spreadsheet, and whatever a recruiter is willing to say.
The data to close that gap is already public. SEC DEF 14A proxy statements disclose named executive officer compensation in detail. IRS Form 990 filings do the same for nonprofits. What did not exist was a workspace that ingests those filings, cross-validates them, lets one person build a peer set that actually resembles their company, and hands back a percentile position with a citation on every figure — for the price of a personal card charge rather than an institutional contract.
That is the whole product. It is built on public filings, never a paid survey, and it is scoped to the individual executive rather than the committee.
What we value
Data provenance over raw lookups
Every figure carries its source — the accession number and filing date from a SEC DEF 14A, or the tax year from an IRS Form 990. A number you cannot source is a number you cannot use in a board conversation, so we do not return one.
Scope discipline
No private-company data. No board-facing tooling. CEOSalary is built for the individual executive preparing for a specific conversation, and we would rather be narrow and correct than broad and approximate.
